  Wheatlands farm is situated on the back road out of redcar, a seaside town, it is surrounded by large houses, with lots of green space on the walk down and a large field about a minute away, the compound has a large car park which is never too busy, except on quiz nights which is particularly popular and happens on a Monday. There is a childrens play park outside and lots of large trees and plants, as well as a few outdoor picnic benches to sit on and have a drink, please note hot food is not to be eaten outside. The pub itself is an old farmhouse and is made of light coloured sandstone, very traditional and picturesque, the adjoining wacky warehouse is not the prominent feature of the pub and cannot be largely noticed from outside, or heard when sat inside. Speaking of interior, very cosy warm and farmhouse-like feel, which can be great in both summer and winter.
  On the subject of food; extremely reasonably priced, and numerous offers such as 2 for £10 on certain meals which is longstanding and runs all day everyday. The food, is hearty and filling and although it is not quite worthy of a michelin star it is deliciously tasty and there is something for everyone.
  
  A great place for a casual meal at relatively low cost as drinks are not too expensive either. Glad to call it my local as staff are always friendly and help-full.
